Incentive Solutions was established in New Zealand in 1996 and expanded into Australia in 2004 and in the USA in 2008.

Using our proprietary incentive programmes we can deliver a stronger result to sales and profitability than standard discount or rebate models.

Who We Are

Incentive Solutions is comprised of deep seated talent in every aspect of the incentives and loyalty marketplace.
Collectively we have been designing, enabling and running reward programmess for many years across two continents.

We have extensive experience in the creation, implementation and management of incentive programmes, specialising in 'business-to-business' projects for all types of industries.

We offer a complete end-to-end solution, determining strategy, implementation, on-going management, member contact centre, rewards sourcing and fulfilment, analytics and reporting.

Incentive Solutions is now one of the largest Incentive Companies in NZ with a blue chip client base. Their focus is primarily trade and staff programs in which they have a recognized expertise.

  • David Harwood - Chief Executive Officer

    David Harwood

    David began his career in the consumer products industry as an executive trainee. Twelve years and various positions later, he rose to the position of National Sales Manager for Montana Wines. As the regulatory climate changed in New Zealand and distribution channel restrictions were removed, David led his team to launch new wine products into Supermarkets throughout the country.

    An entrepreneur at heart, David left the consumer products industry to start his own Merchandising and Sales Promotion Company. While the venture was successful, David became increasing focused on incentives marketing and the unique characteristics of reward and recognition programs. He eventually sold his share of the company to his partner in 1999 and formed Incentive Solutions Ltd. (ISL) to specialize in the incentive and loyalty programs marketplace.

    His particular expertise is most evident in sales and channel partner programs for clients serving the grocery, convenience store and hardware/home improvement retail sectors.

  • David Higgs - CTO / IT Manager

    David Higgs

    David has worked in the IT industry in New Zealand and the UK for over 13 years. Previously he has worked for Cable & Wireless (UK) as a database administrator and website developer, EDS for the British Airways Engineering desktop refresh Y2K compliance project team, and Coca-Cola Schweppes (UK) as part of the customer database migration team. He has worked in the loyalty arena for the last 7 years.

  • Deborah Forman - Group Accountant

    Deborah Foreman

    Deborah began her career as a Chartered Accountant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Auckland, before moving to the UK 5 years later as Financial Controller for a global sales and management training organisation.

    After 7 years, she returned to New Zealand and further specialised in the service sector, working with The Radio Network's The Radio Bureau and Independent Radio News divisions as Finance Manager, followed by 2 years with Horwath Porter Wigglesworth as a Business Consultant, and 4 years as Financial Controller for House of Travel's wholesale travel division.

    She joined Incentive Solutions in March 2006 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and is an Associate member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

  • Anna Rutherford - Account Director

    Anna Rutherford

    Anna joined the Incentive Solutions team in 2010 as our Account Director bringing with her knowledge and expertise from a variety of sectors from: Telecommunications, Health Sector, Educational, Government and Event Management.

    Working within the Telecommunications sector for over 10 years, she was Telecom’s Sales Incentive & Events Manager for 3 1/2 years, and Incentive Solutions was one of her preferred top suppliers in helping to deliver Incentives and Loyalty programmes throughout different divisions such as Call Centres, Mass Market Retail chains, and Sales Divisions.
